I think they can win the one-dayers. Whether they will win is another matter.

I don't think they can with the Test match, though. Six days of sustained pressure from some of the best players in the world will be just too much I think... particularly with Gillespie so horribly out of form and possibly unlikely to play, Hayden out of touch and Martyn dropped... and now it looks like Tait probably wont play either. It's a damn uphill battle.

Bring back Thommo, Marshy, Lillee, the Chappells, Lenny Pascoe, Wayne Phillips ( :? ) , John Dyson ... then we'll be right :shock:

Surprised at just how wrong I turned out to be. I think the result was heavily influenced by a combination of a spin-friendly SCG pitch (allowing Austrlia to play two spinners instead of trying to find a vaguely decent third quick) and a poorly selected team for the World XI.

Yeah smashed em in the end thought the test would of been closer but hey
half of the world team hadnt played for a while. looking forward to the west indies tour
