Let's hope the beer is better

Post by anti-fsck »

Grays Online is having an online auction of the set of The Alice. Among the items listed is a "Glycol Draught Beer Chilling System, Iceberg". I've Googled to find out wtf it is, but no luck. The closes I can find is a Russian company that does commercial refrigeration installations.
Anyone shed any light on what this is/what it's worth?

I think it is a pub beer chiller that has the ice on the base of the tap rack for show. One of the ones that people put coins on and they become covered in ice in a few hours.
I've e-mailed the auctioneer with the question. I'll let you know when I find out for sure...
The pin-ball machine looks good.
Cheers

From Greys...

it is a referred to as a beer dispensing system only, includes chilling the
beer to the lines.

It has been withdrawn from sale because it was owned by someone else!
Spewin'
That would have been a show stopper on the home bar 8)
