The Brewing Network Show- 10/30/05

Post by fstbttms »

Hey kids,
This week at TBN, we'll have Brian Hunt from Moonlight Brewing Company join us in the studio for our official "Anti- Style Show". Enough talk about brewing to style and proper style etiquette. Brian likes his beers the way he likes them. And frankly, so do the rest of us... well... sometimes anyway. Join us as we talk brewing without the rules. Also, our official tasting this week will be of Guinness Stout. To participate, pick up some Guinness (the one in the tall can with the widget ((Nitro!)), and join us at the top of the second hour of the show as we taste it together, and evaluate the flavor profile. The show airs Sunday at 5 p.m. Pacific Time (Monday, 0100 UTC.)

And don't miss the Brews and Blues Show with Brewcaster J at 11 a.m. Pacific Time, Sunday (Sunday, 1900 UTC.) Those observing Daylight Saving Time in the U.S., don't forget to set your clocks back an hour when you go to bed Saturday night (or particularly if you don't go to bed Saturday night ;-) )

Besides being Brewcaster Justin's live-in girlfriend? Oh, she's just this totally hot German babe who happens to homebrew. Pretty much the perfect woman ;-)

Not sure I want my missus giving me advice on how to brew

This game belongs to me and Snow Dog. I really don't want to share the magic with her.

I will let her taste test the Guiness though

Hi fstbttms,

Had a listen to the achives -It works well and is a good listen. If I could manage to get the whole show I could pass the time at work learning about how to conduct myself at the octoberfest among other things...
I don't seem to be getting the whole show though. Mostly just about 8 mins of audio. I managed 17 mins of the lager show but just as the interesting stuff began the file ended. Is this right?
Also are you planning to pod cast?
Cheers
Silk

Podcasts are coming soon. I will be sure to let everybody know when they are available.

Hi fastbottoms,
should we abuse you for advertising on this forum, like the Beerpal guys did?
Hahaha.
Only joking. This forum is too open minded for that.

Love the show. Keep up the good work.

Also, I found that a couple of the files only went for 30 mins or so.
But most contain the whole show.
So it appears they fixed that problem.
Just keep downloading....

Most of the Australian forums I've visited seem to be very active and always lots of good Aussie humor.

I can only give you Greenwich Mean Time. I have no idea how far ahead of us you are.

11 hours now ahead of Greenwich (AEDT). Normally 10 (AEST).

Indeed. If you look at the bottom right of most pages on this forum you'll see "All times are GMT + 11 Hours"! That's Australian eastern daylight saving time, fstbttms.

As Antsvb says, during winter we're +10 hours.

Cheers,

OK, fair enough. But I'll let individual readers do the math ;-)
