Tried a 1L hit of the famed Alpha Pale Ale at the Woolloomooloo Ale & Steakhouse.
Best $14 i ever spent. A sensational product with a real citrus underlying flavour. Fantastic upfront appreciation with a slowly depleting palate.
Will be going back for more!

I shared one of these with the bloke from our local bottleshop this morning (!). I must say I was disappointed. It was a pleasant enough beer, but it was not at all bitter. I was expecting a quite bitter, almost India Pale Ale style, but was confronted with a fairly malty, yet not very bitter, ale. It is a lovely colour though.
He had some of the new James Squire beer, Hop Thief Ale. Unfortunately it wasn't cold. I can't wait to try it.
Cheers,
Oliver
