Best stinking hot day brew?

Post by Kippo »

It's bloody stinking hot down in melbourne today and i'm having a few blokes round for drinks after work. Was thinking of just picking up a 6pack of cooers sparkling ale, but by the time i get stuck into them i want the best stinking hot day brew.

I have noticed that LiquorLand doesnt really stock that many imported beers (mainly just stock up on VB etc). So wat do you recon would be the best beer i could pick up from there just to quench the thirst.
Primary: Coopers Bavarian Lager.
Secondary: Empty
Bottled and slammin' down: Coopers Lager, Coopers Draught and Coopers Bitter

Next Project: Some type of clone

for hot days - you cant go wrong with a redback or a coopers pale ale (cold and poured into a glass without sediment). Too much alcohol on CSA (5.8) for a hot day, cpa only 4.5%. I'll be drinking my hefeweizen wheat during the cricket :D

On a stinking hot day you can't beat a good crisp lager or pilsener. But then again a cold ale will always go down well, especially a Tooheys Old.
