Microbrewery

Post by beerboy »

One of those microbreweries has opened up near me, the one where you mix the wort up on their premisis and then wait two weeks for fermentation and then go back and bottle it. Fermentation is done under controlled temps and the beer is filtered before bottling. They also sterilize your bottles for you. Has anyone tried one of these places? It works out a bit more expensive than doing it at home.

That sounds like a good service, but takes a little bit of the fun out of it in my opinion. But hey- if you like it, do it!

Sounds like good beer, but if you are going that far, why not just buy their commercial product?

Just a thought.

Is there anything quite as soothing as the: ...bloop...bloop bloop...bloop... sound?
