Hey guys,
I've got a brew in my secondary that I've kinda neglected because I've been too busy.
It's been in there for about a month.
It's still good to bottle, right?
Fermenting time
I would think so. As long as the fermenter isn't letting bugs or oxygen in it should be fine. If it's a plastic fermenter (my secondary is), oxygen will diffuse slowly through the plastic, but a month should be just fine.
The rule of thumb you'll see over and over through these forums when someone asks "X happened, is my brew ok?" is "never chuck it out - always bottle it and see how it develops". The worst outcome is that you'll have wasted a couple of dollars on caps and priming sugar and however long it took to bottle in the case that it is undrinkable. On the other hand, it might come out brilliantly after some aging in the bottle, and be your best brew ever.
Relax. Don't worry. Have a homebrew.
