The power of the dollar is very strong indeed isn't it.

Lets see what the drinking customers say about this.

Thank god I'm not going there.

Imagine having to drink that megaswill.

And people knock Crown Lager and Tooheys....they are magnificent next to Bud.

When I go stateside I drink Dos Equois from Mexico or look around for decent European beers.

I am going but I won't be drinking any bud, why would you when every town or hamlet has at least 20 different beers.

5 weeks and counting.

I see people in Starbucks on Lygon St. You can buy much better coffee just on either side, so you never can tell. That said, by their accents most of the Starbucks customers are probably just pining for something from home and don't know any better. ;-)

Imagine,

the audacity of the Beckhams wanting to fly vintage British planes over Germany

Just like the people in Italy I saw tucking into a Big Mac when you can get a great panini (sp?) for the same price. I just don't understand why you'd go halfway around the world and eat megacrap that you could buy around the corner.

Bu the way McDonalds is going to promote their World Cup Big Mac at the stadium. It is 40 percent bigger than the normal Big Mac giving World Cup Revelers more of what you want.

All you Cup goers will think you have died and gone to the USA, Bud and Big Macs (have to many of the BM and you will die). Excellent
