Hey....I know you can buy electric wine chilling things....which apparently chill wine in about 7-8 minutes...
has anyone used home brew bottles in one of these>? Do they fit? I think I'd like one if they do.

If you mean the ones that you can insert a warm bottle into and take it out cold a few minutes later, then I would say I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work with home brew long necks, they are roughly the same size as wine bottles. Just a matter of checking out dimensions.
But why not just ask around for a beer fridge? I've got 2! Unless you haven't got a shed to put it in.
