Reculturing yeast

Just a quick one fellas but whats the best way to reculture yeast from a coopers pale ale ?

I boiled then cooled 50g ldme in 200mL water. Put in a longie, poured in the slops and fitted a rubber bung with airlock. Used it for 3 brews taking half and refeeding.

Half the time I get lazy, and just bung some LDM into the bottle, stir, and stick in an airlock.
