Last brew was 1.7kg canadian lager, 1.1kg doric light kit. 300g dex, 250g crystal malt, and saf lager. How can i improve on this without going all-grain. It does taste pretty good but has a bitter aftertaste

Ok, based on the same kit...

1.7kg Canadian
1.5kg pale liquid malt
250g light honey
200g crystal
40g amarillo hops for 20min
40g amarillo dry hopped
