Wander bargain

Post by Emo »

I stopped into my local Coles supermarket on the way home. I noticed that they had Wander tins of Draught (made by Lion Nathan) at $5.99 so I grabbed a couple. When I got to the check out they scanned at $8.99 so I disputed it and sure enough, I got one can for free and the second one for $5.99. If you're near Coles Hampton (previously BiLo), drop in.

OK, what can I dress up the draught with? I'm thinking I'll do it as a two tin brew with no other perhaps mininal other fermentables. Any hops recommendations?

Hmmm, not a bad idea. Thanks. With a few extras, I can made two brews with the two tins.

Me, I'd go with your original thought of a two can brew.

Just add water & yeast.

Taste is subject to quality of ingredients, but you will almost certainly have good body, good clarity & good head.

JMHO.

Yeh I'd go with the two can brew with some low AA hops like Cascade for flavour and aroma.
15g boiled for 15 minutes and 10g steeped in very hot water for 10 minutes is probably what I'd do.
