One of my many New Years resolutions (and possibly the only one yet to be broken) is to move from kit and kilo to extract and partials this year. Have my money box filling up with cash for a brew fridge, large pot etc as i make the tentative steps forward. Got a 3rd fermenter for xmas so am scaling up production and want quality to go up too......
So to get to my point, myself and a few others in Adelaide would love to see firsthand how extracts/partials are done and more importantly, see exactly what equipment is used, be it homemade or full-blown stainless steel jobbies.
Any chance there is/are some people out there willing to have a few blokes around to watch their every move and pick their brains? I know the jovial Monk HBS does demos but my last visit there took 45 mins of my life and all i wanted was a kilo of dex......
Naturally a few HBs would be offered in payment, wouldnt want said expert to die of thirst while slaving away for my benefit!
Any takers/offers? I am in the Adelaide metro area but not adverse to a little travel....
