Hey guys,
was just a bit curious as to the ages of other people on here.
i'm 21, was wondering what age most people on here were - is home brewing common amongst people my age (say 18-24) or is it more common amongst (with respect
) older people?

I'm 24. Been brewing for 12 months. Would have started earlier if I'd known it was indeed possible to turn out a good beer, but my only exposure to HB was through some of my mates' dodgy brews.

All I can say to you blokes is.........half your bloody luck! I will be fifty four in April, I have been brewing for about ten years. I have never felt the need to get into grains and still only do kits, but I am happy with most of the results I get.

Anyone want start a poll? I don't know how.

Forty-two.
I wish I found this hobby a decade ago - I would have saved a shed-load on beer, but probably spent at least as much on brewtoys...

There is no such thing as bad beer. There is only good beer and better beer.

39 for me. I found the poll reflected my situation quite well.
I brewed as a poor student, back then only Coopers and white sugar, didn't know any better.
Back into it again about six months ago and loving the new possibilities for HB'ers that didn't exist last time around.
Making great beer too!
