STEPS FOR BULK PRIMING AND RACKING????

Can someone help me out with bulk priming and racking????
So my brew has been in fermenter for 7 or so days, do i mix up my priming sugar and place into my second fermenter and rack the beer into it, then wait a day or two and bottle? I was told this is what to do but hey...but i don't know?? Help from fellow brewers would be greatly appreciated

Bottle straight after added the priming sugar, otherwise you'll be under carbonated in the bottle.

When you use dextrose tp bulk prime, do you use the same quantities as plain white sugar???
