Alcoholic Cola
Alcoholic Cola
Anyone know and Easy and Effective Way of making Alcoholic Cola in a Fementer. . . .
You can buy kits for it at Brewcraft, the flavouring is added after fermentation.
Actually, the kit in its entirety is just a flavour bottle and a sachet of aspartame. The liquid itself is water, dextrose and maltodextrin, which are bought separately. So in theory, if you had an alternate source of flavour and sweetener, just add:
(for 12L)
1kg Dextrose
500g Maltodextrin
1 tsp of Yeast nutrient
Champagne yeast
Ferment out, rack to secondary, stir in flavour and sweetener, bulk prime (150g dextrose) and bottle. Definitely in Coopers PET bottles, you don't want to be playing around with potential glass bombs here.
