Lastest brew put down on Saturday.
No need to comment just so I can keep track on ingredients so if I finaly make a nice brew I can remember what I did and I'm not good on backing up data on PC's and have suffered a few Hard drive failures. :roll:

1.7kg Morgan's Australian Draught (in at flameout)

5 litres Boiling filtered rain water
1kg LDryME 1/2 in at first boil other 1/2 in at 20mins( I get confused is it LDME mean liquid dark malt extract, light dry malt extract ect :lol: best way for me to make the distinction)
500g Dextrose ( brewing sugar)
9g Cluster ( 45mins)aa6.2
8g perie ( 20mins) aa6.4
8g Glacier ( yet to go in, thursday)
8g american ale Yeast ( pitched 20c)Started slow bubbling tuesday morning.

15l chilled doubled filter tank water
22litres total
OG 1052.

LDME = Light Dry
DDME = Dark Dry

I tin Thomas Cooper Indian Pale Ale
I tin Muntons Liquid Unhopped Amber Malt Extract
300g Dextrose
500g LdryME
9 grams Cluster. ( boil 45mins)

Back to Basics and checking out what makes what flavours below will be the control. ( I guess I should use an Unhopped kit butttt.)

I Tin Coopers Draught Disolved in 2 litres hot water added to fermenter
1k Coopers brewing sugar disolved in boiling water added to fermenter
OG 1.48
23l

Next brew will be the same with "glacier" dry hopped.

1kg PME
2kg WME
300g med crystal
2 oz northern brewer
1oz hallerteau
11g nottingham yeast
Boiled approx. 10 l h2o with 1.5oz NB and liquid from steeped crystal for 1 hour, .5 oz for half hour. hall. at flame out. Top up to 23 liters.
Hope it is not too bitter
