Hmmm... dex and water... sounds like most Aussie commercial beers. Add a drop of cat piss and you are well on your way to impressing your non home brewing mates
Honestly though, don't waste your time. If you want a cheap easy and very tasty oztops brew pour about 300ml out of a 2L bottle of preservative free apple or apple/pear juice (about $2 worth of juice) and then add some of the yeast that came with the tops or use dry champers yeast. Allow it to ferment for a few days (depends how dry you want it) then refridgerate and drink after a week or so. This will give you about 3% alcohol, so if you want more add some white sugar.

YIKES!!
That`s about 250 grams in 1.7l. isn`t it?
Stand by for a bombing run.

Thats ~3.3 kilos if it were a 23L batch... and there would be a decent amount of fermentable sugar in the juice
Interested in the result honestly... never had the balls to do something like this myself.

One of the last Oztops I did was a 2l. Berri Apple and Pear juice with 100g. Macadamia honey and 2 cinnamon sticks, No.2 yeast and hi-carb cap, chilled after 5 days.
From memory it came out very drinkable.
Still got plenty of Oztop No. 1 and 2 yeast here but they`ve been sitting in the beer fridge for 15 months, wonder how long they`re good for?
