Ha ha. The local HBS closed a while back but they still sell stuff from home. Popped around there at lunch to grab some stuff. While I was there I asked them what other brewers in the area were doing, just making the same recipe repeatedly or trying some different recipes. They replied "Most of them just make the same recipe over and over, you're the only experimental brewer that gets stuff from us". Had to have a chuckle. Maybe I should take it as a complement. In there defense, they did say that they don't really consider kit + kilo of sugar to be home brewing.
They open on Saturday mornings so I'm thinking of taking some brews around so other brewers in the area can taste and see what can be made if you vary from your 1 recipe.
