good porno cimemas 70s

Post by goatsby »

ah you cant go past the sleaze of the 70s

Had a intresting Wimmera schoolboys football trip to Melbourne which
included a trip to the Shaft Sinema.

Well the films were a laugh especially the plot developments the
first one had a abrupt ending the star was walking the street and got
kicked in the nuts by a gang of thugs he grabs his crotch and says "
thats the end of the stud days" then FINIS appear on screen(looks
like the film must have run of of funding)

But then they had intermission and on the speaker
"For your EDIFICATION and Enjoyment the Shaft Sinema presents Nude on
a Trapeze"
anyway the stripper/Trapezists finishes the act and in the front row
there was a bald headed badger about 70 not out sitting by himself,
the stripper/trapezist approaches him removes his bifocals and cleans
them on her muff and puts them back on his head. A nice way to gain
empathy with regular patrons!!

We still talk about that to this day, by the way we lost the football
game by 12 goals the next day when we were favorites to win, our
coach was dumbfounded , one of my mates had a theory that having
spent all friday in the darkened surrounds of the Shaft Sinema we
wernt accustmed to natural light and had sight adjustment problems,
from memory we walked into the Shaft Sinema in the main street and
they had a discreet exit into a alley I remember almost been blinded
by the natural sunlight.

So when I hear anyone using the the word EDIFICATION I always think
of the Shaft Sinema to this day LOL

LOL The Sleaze of the 70s!! you cant beat it

The Shaft Sinema is still going today just googled it on the net

Shades of the Horn `n`Prawn "fundraisers" that were a regular Friday night at halls around Brisbane a long time ago. If you were looking for someone in the building industry you hadn`t seen for a while, you`d be a safe bet to run into him at a Horn `n` Prawn.
They were always "raided" by the same cops who always finished up out the back drinking free piss and perving on the strippers.
Ah, the glory days :P

Reminds me of the old Hub Cinema in Newtown, Sydney. Some mates and I went to see Bob Gucciones version of Caligula
back in the eighties. They even put a stripper on, wasn't that expensive to get through the door from what I recall. Ahh! those penthouse girls in the film, they were something. Enough to make a man drink and ponder what life could have been.
