Brewing beers for diabetics

Post by Robbo05 »

Can any one give me any info on brewing beers for diabetics.
I have been to the local home brew shop and they have given me a Brewcraft modiferm.
He explained that this takes the carbohydrates out of the beer.
Any more info on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

From memory, it's just dry enzyme- a substance that remove all the character from beer. Basically, you might as well just brew with dextrose and hops only. Or not at all.
A beer in the hand is worth two in George Bush...
