brewing in a cube
Does anyone see any problems with brewing in cubes? I've read that people use them for lagering in secondary but not found reference to anyone using them as primary. Maybe there will be headspace problems??? I'm considering buying a chest freezer so I can up production and the one in looking at will hold 2 cylindrical fermentors. I think if I used cubes I could pack them better and fit more in. Thoughts

I use them to condition awaiting kegging and I flush the headspace with c02 and store them in the keezer. I would assume you could use them as a secondary when most of the fermentation is complete and just crack the lid a little. Nasties can't climb in and under the lid really.

I'm know I've read about blokes fermenting in cubes for much the same reason. As for tips about headspace, etc - I have no idea. Tried searching outside of this board? I'm sure you'll turn up info fairly easily.
