about/OLIVER

Geoff has been blamed on numerous occasions for introducing Oliver to the addictive pastime of home brewing. Oliver has a bit of catching up to do. He has only made 1200 bottles since 1995. Being from Adelaide, South Australia, Oliver lists his favorite beers as most of the Cooper's Brewery range, but was heard to comment while drinking a Pilsner Urquell on tap in Prague in 1999: “This is the best beer I've ever had.”

Oliver studied journalism at the University of South Australia's Magill campus and now works at The Age in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
