Yes I know this place has been open for a while
but I just got around to sampling their Sunday beer o'clock session recently. ($5 craft beer stubbies)
The beer list is four pages long, comprising australian beers & ciders

Re: Home brewing in London
Thanks for the link Warra, just having a quick glance through the recipes section was enlightening!
And about the coopers kits? I saw those prices and thought Jeebus what am I in for. I'll be living round the corner from the junction tavern in Tufnell Park which was doing a different menu of local ...

Home brewing in London
I'm about to head back to london for a few years, and I'm wondering if anyone has ideas on HB supplies.
The home-brew-shop web site seems a good start but do any of you learned folks know,
where to get bottles?
what is the deal with the water over there (ph levels and hard/soft appears to be a big ...

Re: How long do hops keep in the fridge?
Thanks for your help guys. I thought just after I posted, "maybe I should have done a search' Oh well.
I think I might just bump up the amounts a touch.
At least now I'm confident that the flavour hasn't gone manky.
cheers

How long do hops keep in the fridge?
I've had some hops (amerillo) in my fridge door for about six months. The packet has been opened but is quite well wrapped up. My question is, are they still good to use?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Re: Glutenfree Pilsener
I used 500gm of rice syrup in an experimental lager late last year.
would recommend to anyone that no more than 200gm be used in any brew to give a nice crispness.
The amount that I put in makes the beer taste "green" even now. shudder...

anyone heard of cobra beer?... recipe ideas
cobra is a british beer made with barley, maize and rice.
I think it's a lager. I seem to remember that written on the bottle.
Mostly available in australia at indian restaurants, or tesco in london.
Anyway I'm thinking of using
coopers lager tin plus saflager yeast
ultra brew 1 kg
ldm 500gm ...
