Re: blueberry wheat beer
Yeh, good thinking Chris. I have always tried to keep it as natural as possible but Lactose may be the answer to my loss of sweetness. How much do you recommend for a 22litre batch? or Bottle? Maybe I can trial some in a few bottles.

Re: blueberry wheat beer
I pasturised for about 15 min. I am trying to get the cloudiness of a Belgian wit (eg Hoegaarden), by adding 250g of torrefied wheat juice into my second tub that I rack into (meaning more wheat particles in my bottles) as well as the colour and flavour of the blueberry, so I can't say how much ...

Re: how many tallies do you drink a day?
Normally 1-2 tallies per night, sometimes just a grolsh bottle if I have a beer higher than 6.5%. Weekends I lose count but rarely get smashed. No time for hangovers. No AFD. A bit of exercise during the week rids me of toxins and guilt and I can get back to the fridge.

Re: help. hop problems
Yep, I know it seems strange.
I am doing Partial grain brewing. Bottles are twist top king browns and Grolsh bottles. Stored under house ( limestone) at constant temp and dark. I have decided to put them straight into refrigeration once carbonated (10 days)to try to stall the aroma and flavour decay ...

help. hop problems
Hi all fellow brewers
I need some help. For the past 12 months I have been working/experimenting at trying to create the perfect Little creatures pale ale clone. My last two brews have been about 95% identical to LCPA and a great drink. However, after about 3 weeks in the bottles my Cascade and ...
