Dogfish Head IPA glasses

Yob over on AHB kinda beat me to this, even though he's planning to do it with Sierra Nevada...but I figured I'd put this up here, see if there's any interest.

I contacted Dogfish Head last week about their IPA glasses, and if they'd ship a bulk lot over to save on postage (shipping 2 glasses is like $48!). The glasses are only $9 each from Dogfish Head, vs the $29.95 we have to pay for a 2-pack here in DJ's or Myer...and they've of course got DH's cool shark on 'em for true craft bling value.

Anyway, they got back to me last night, and sure enough shipping 20 of their IPA glasses is only $60, so each glass comes to $12. Shipping 50 or 100 is not that much cheaper so I don't think I'd bother. Would anyone on HB&B be interested in joining in on a bulk buy of these glasses with me? I already have a couple of logo-free versions, and they're great, so I'll only take another 2 of these for myself.

You could pick them up from my place (Thornbury, VIC), or in the city when I'm at work if you prefer. I'm also happy to send them on elsewhere in Aus if you're happy to pay the postage, I could use my missus' eBay satchels, cost would be around $8 for under 3kg.

If you're interested, let me know how many in your reply. If we reach 20 I'll get it happening.

After a quick initial reply from "Janelle" at Dogfish Head, she's now gone all quiet...I'm trying to get out of her an ETA for delivery. I'm keen to put the order in, but last thing I need is to receive a box of 20 glasses in early Jan only to find nobody wants 'em any more!

I think the chick from Dogfish maybe only works Monday's, 'coz I've emailed her like 8 times in the last two weeks, and she's only replied on Tuesday mornings (our time) two weeks running. So hopefully this Tuesday I'll hear that they're on the way.

I've only ordered a single box of 20, about a dozen are already spoken for, doubt I'll have any trouble getting rid of the rest.

Ok, so no email back from DFH, but a charge of AUD$261.87 hit my credit card on Tuesday, so I guess they're on the way! Typical the aussie dollar had to be at its lowest point in years just as this goes through...
