Beer yeast and wine yeast are not the same. You'll still end up with a beer if you use a wine yeast. It's just that the flavours the yeast produce won't be like you'd expect or probably what you'd desire.

spoke to Neil at IHS, my local HBS, he knows of them and supplies them with some of their gear. In turn he can collect/order anything they sell that he doesn't, such Wyeasts etc.
Definately worth a look at this idea!

I have heard of them they are out near bibra lakes recall seeing the sign
I used to buy alot of my stuff from osborne park (west brew) or big bubble in midland.

Just returned from TWOC at Bibra Lake, as stated they have a good range of Wyeast etc. Small outfit with a reasonable range, owner was on holiday but woman in the store was helpful. They have there own range of brew kits marketed under "Deliverance" brand name.
The Stock road markets themselves are a real disappointment, very limited and almost deserted!
