Need some help here!!!

Post by lang »

Was wandering through a supermarket little while ago and found ten tins of Brigalow 'New"(with dints) and made a deal at $4-00 each :? .Should I give 'em to my dogs,keep the bludgers busy licking that up!, or the next door neighbour (for $6-00 each) :D
What I have on hand is ;
Sterling and Cascade hops,
LDM,
all sorts of Dextrose and bits and pieces,
Several Safale/Larger yeasts,
Other stuff ..
Now, can anyone suggest a couple of brews, or maybe ten different :idea: .
Seem a shame not to muck around with this lot, maybe something extraordinary will result ,and the neighbour :roll: and the dogs can make their own arrangements.

I would be a little concerned about the dints as the metal in the can will seep impurities or whatever you wanna call em' into the product they are containing. I spose it depends on how long they have been dinted for, and how badly they are dinted. I have brewed with dinted cans once or twice and haven't had a prob but I did add a shit load of choc malt ,DDME and hops so it may have masked the tinny taste. I reckon boil the shit out of them and use em' as extrect
Thats it, you people have stood in my way long enough, I'm going to clown college

If they are tainted, nothing will get that flavour out. On the other hand, they are probably fine, so get stuck into them. Can't help you with recipies though- Brigalow have too bad a reputation for me to want to start using them.
