all,
spotted these on nr brewing's site.

has anyone here used these ?
how exactly do they work ?

if one could be obtained, is this a cheap avenue into kegging ?

cheers

They look interesting, if you find out any more, please let me know :) .
I'm thinking of trying this out one day http://oz.craftbrewer.org/Library/Gear/ ... Kegs.shtml
Plastic I know, but might be worth a try.

Cheers, Ed

Yardy,

I live close by so I gave them a call, they don't sell them you can only hire them $70 for the week. Andea told me that the kegs cost $325 for them to buy, so I would say that it would not be cheap way to keg. If you need to know more just give them a call, they are very helpful.

Cheers

Spotted some 20lt kegs this am for $65 each. Does this sound like a good price? Thinking of getting a couple.

Thanks yardy, I'll have a yak to my brewing partner and see if he wants to go ahead. Reckon it'd be easier than messing about with those plastic jobs that I mentioned earlier. From memory, the plastic spray packs are reasonably pricey considering they'd need quite a bit of modding.
