apple cider

I have looked at several recipes for the cider and wonder when I put the lactose in and what yeast (if any) to use

Just dissolve the lactose with the other ingredients at the start.

Use a champagne yeast, which you can get in sachets from your homebrew store. I'm not sure what yeast comes with the Black Rock Cider kit, but the results are great.

i made a black rock cider with 2L of apple juice, and 1,5kg of glucose, 125g of lactose, with the yeast provided in the black rock can, and tasting during fermantation seems promising......

have to wait for the second fermentation now....................... :(
