Go get another fermenter, it is $60 at Kmart until 5th sep.
And of cause keep the one you have.

If you bleach it, the choline odor would probably mask any hops smell there. Which you need to rinse it a fair bit and finish with boiling water.

I have reculture yeast from a stubby, i start off with 30ml 1040 food, it takes 48 hours to see some action. With ~24C, they have a better fighting chance for survival.

nah I recultured yeast from microbrewery's bottle. I had it in primary for a week and 2 weeks in secondary.

I would rack and raise temperature to 22-23C, 1020 is pretty high considering what went in.

I soak mine in idophor (no rinse) together with a fermenter. The fermenter needs to be done anyway since I bulk prime.

Try take a reading for tap water, it should read 1.0000

The reading is too high. my cascade Choc mahogany porter + 1.15kg of LDME went from 1049 to 1007

I read from some where suggested there are 10% difference for priming purpose. i.e. 1.1kg dex = 1kg suger

If you refer to aroma, it will attenuate over time but with bitterness, I don't think so.

The problem is 2 tin will double IBU to around 34 X 2 = 68. I will add more malt to get around 6% Alc.

I think i will throw in another 20g of Willa at flame out. I plan to use pacific gem as flavor and aroma but I have no idea what they smell like, I use it just because they use it in mountain goat IPA and it is on sale. I have 90g of pacific gem, I will to find some way to use them ...
