I beleive what Chris is saying. Brew Enhancers (Coopers Brew Enhancers 1 & 2), these don't enhance your beer at all. Make it just plain and tasteless. But thats just me.

Malt it up son.......Your local HB shop should put you on the right path,,,,,

Skoonah try the Morgans range of tins. Especially ...

I don't know if this is bad advise as I have never actually attempted. One of my brew came out a little flat and I was talking to a friend about beer when I happened to mention this batch.
His advise was ' 1/4 cup of hot water, mix 6 teaspoon of sugar and put in fridge for 24hrs. In the mean time ...

Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 for me means a beer that has no substance to the flavour and just plain old boring beer. If I wanted to drink boring beer I could try stuff like XXXX or a Tooheys. Go to your HB shop and buy a blend that they have put together or recommend.

I have just put down a Coopers ...

My cheapest and non favourite was a Coopers pale ale with the Coopers Brew Enhancer 2. I had high hopes but was shot down in flames.
Yet I made a Coopers Pale with the liquid sugar when first moved to SA and was impressed. Thats why I tried the all Coopers brew. Never again......

Some advise I was given the other day was to go through crack open all the bottles and reseal them. MMMM seems a bit dodgy if you ask me so I thought I should ask all of you.

A mate at work has advised me to boil hops prior to racking. I shall be giving this a crack tonight as I have not racked in the past. Interesting to see the difference. I might try bottling a couple prior to the rack to see if the end product is different.

Froth

just opened a dry that I created and was wondering if anyone can help me in reference to the large amount of froth that occours when pouring into a glass. My thought was the Enzyme may need more time in secondary. I bottle the beer on the 28 July 2006. Any assistance greatly appreciated....

Thanks

A big thank you to all those who have replied. I went out and bought a second fermenter today. Still stumped as the next beer is a pilsner (Morgans tin) and was wondering if the yeast that comes with will brew as low as 12 degrees? I know they say 22 - 30 but my last brew went fine below the ...

Racking, is it really worth it?

Just new to the whole homebrew science and have had people tell me to rack my beer. All I have been told is that is better and makes the end product alot cleaner. Have also been told not to worry as the rate of infection increases when you rack. So this brings me back to my original question. "Is ...
