With a few already in me I decided I'd gas the next one using the Sodastream.
Gently poured the bottle into the plastic soda stream bottle (already chilled) then proceeded to carbonate as I would with a normal soft ...

Hi peoples
Been a while since I have posted here, hope you are all still doing well.
Just getting keen on my beers again & looking into working with yeast slants etc, I came across this video you might get something out of.

Still proving that kegging is not all it is cracked up to be.

but if you've got taps with flow regulators (ie. Celli's or similar) then this isn't too much of an issue.
Yeah, been reading a bit about Gas per unit volume too, it seems 2.5 - 2.7 parts gas to beer might suite my needs but my acquired regulator does not have a flow meter.

Recently aquired a kegging set up so the obvious choice for info & tips was here.
Must say though that this thread can be a little confusing, so many different pressures & methods.
See if I have this right?

I use a very simple filter when racking.
It is no more than, a black poly pipe with a thread on each end which you can get from any Irrigation or pumping supplies, they are sold as a "stand pipe" for a couple of bucks. Stuff it with a good Fish ...

The Co2 makes sense to me!
I use a 500ml flask & a low speed to disolve my PolyClar so I don't have that issue.
