Re: Does beer age in a Keg as it does in a bottle?
In my experience beer ages faster in a keg (to that 'maturity' level) and then holds that optimal point for longer than in a bottle.

Re: Chris Badenoch's beer and food blog
Yeah, the lager is good.
Who'd have thought the Sri Lankans were that good at making beer? They leave the Indians for dead.
Oh no, now the Indian national newspapers will probably accuse me (and Australia) of racism...

I'd have to recommend Sinha (Lion) stout for all things cooking. Well, everything actually.
Damn that's a good beer.

Re: Lost Posts
Moderators won't generally send a message. I've been moderated a few times- chris.-related, and I never heard about it.
They have, in my experience, usually left the post there, but removed the offending text. So it shouldn't just vanish.

I've done one 'all malt' GB before. It'll be the only one I'll ever do. It came out almost cloyingly sweet.
It was pretty feral.

People saying stupid things are shitting me.
Ah, so when someone says something that you disagree with, they are stupid. Now that we have that definition out of the way...
All this because of a joke. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone brought up religion...

Actually you have licence to drive a vehicle, not a right.
I fail to see where I stated the Constitution defined your place in society... And how can anyone be emancipated when they were never formally enslaved? And 'Freedom of Speech' is an American concept more so than an Australian one...

Re: stiffling
Look, without wanting to get to entrenched in semantics, you don't have a right to drive a car. The term 'right' is fairly narrowly defined legally.
The Commonwealth government does actually have the power to censor- it can, due to the fact that (as you stated) the Constitution does not stop it ...

Re: stiffling
You can do it, but don't count on the Constitution to back you up
The High court may help you out on that one.
It is kind of funny that we are the only 'Western' country
that doesn't guarantee that right in our Constitution.

Re: Does anyone make their own yoghurt?
And as for flavours/recipes...
I have a LOT of rhubarb at the moment (and in general), so I tend to use that.
All different berries are good when in season (or frozen). Chocolate is really tasty.
Frozen yoghurt is great. I call it froghurt. The froghurt is also cursed.
I do mostly make natural ...

Re: Does anyone make their own yoghurt?
Really simple. The machine is just an incubator- set and forget. It does most of the work for you.
As far as making it, for a basic recipe:
1.5L proper milk (not that light stuff)
3/4 cup milk powder
1/2 cup of a 'live' yoghurt- I use either the ALDI Greek or vanilla
Heat the milk in saucepan ...

I may not be the best one to answer this, as I myself have disappeared for extended times partially due to this situation...
