Surfers homebrew shops ??

Hi all

Im going over to Surfers for the indy car and im just would like to know
if theres any good home brewshops in Surfers with a good range of hop pellets
im after some state side ones

Mash 1.36 German pilsner malt and 113g of german light crystal malt
1.5kg of extra light DME or LME
Hops
14g northern brewer @ 8% 60min
28 German hallertau hersbrucker @ 3% 60min

7g German hallertau hersbrucker (flavor hop ) 10min

Wyeast 2042 Danish lager yeast

Redback Wheat beer

Hi ya
When i was in aussie in the 1980s i Remember enjoying the odd redback
in the pubs over there . I would like to try and make a clone for this beer
has anyone got a partial mash recipe they have done with success.
I cant remember if this beer was cloudy i know it had sediment in the bottem and ...

The cold-conditioning encourages the yeast to settle out, increases carbonation, and produces a smooth, clean-tasting beer. So put ya lager Secondary in the Fridge for a week or 2 :D

Im thinking it is a infection now its gone like a lite skin looks like pealing skin
and you can scrap it off the top. Still tastes ok a little sour think ill bottle wats under the skin hahaha

Hi
In my recipe .. it asks for Nelson sauvin hops 15g @ 12.7% mine are 9.5% should i add a little more of them or will this not change the % ? if it does how much more should i put in.

I had a peek at one of my brews in the Secondary i see it has a light film on the top it looks a bit oily is this a infection i did sanitize every thing
before i racked

Yea im a bit shy of aluminium im not sure if it will pull bad flavors.
Now tell me Rubber.Piggy 8ltr boil sounds small to me.. do you do a boil and add it to more water in ya primery

aluminum pot?

Hi all
I just would like to know what you guys thought of boiling
a wort in a big aluminum pot is aluminum ok???
And can a stove get hot enough or do you need gas. Im just looking at doing some extract brewing from a change from kits
