Too true BM.
Though having said that, I have seen hundreds if not thousands of bands, (including Birdman and various other offshoots- Hitmen, New Christs, Screaming Tribesmen etc) and Rose Tattoo were probably the loudest thing ever. And they kicked arse.
This was a benefit for Pete Wells, their original guitarist, who has cancer.
Saw the Tatts, Beast Of Bourbon, Paul Kelly, Tim Rogers, Ian Rilen & a bunch of others.

Salut!
Was that the gig where Tex perkins was abusing people for not turning up and abusing the ones who did
Yeah the tatts have got a real reputation specially among overseas people they had real tattoos before every shitty arse hollywood celeb had one just to be tribal. I like Nashville Pussys version of rock n roll outlaw i bet Blaine would have wished to be there!!
Thats why they call me one of the boys.

I saw them last year (admittedly only at the Queenscliff Music Festival). They were absolutely awesome. Loved them. As soon as they started playing, the guys moved towards the stage and the chicks left!undercover1 wrote:we saw Rose Tattoo last week & I'm still not over it.

Last time I saw them was at the Perth BDO in the late 90's....You can't get much more rock'n roll than Radio Birdman
