While I'm brewing, it's usually the Beatles.

When I'm drinking, if I have a chioce about it, I'd put some jazz on, but bad music isn't going to stop me drinking. It may even make me want to drink more.

As for my Homebrew Premiers, it usually involves homebrew, pretzels, peanuts, and Red Dwarf.
Yes, I know Red Dwarf is a TV show, not a music style, but it is sort of on topic.

I don't usually have a say in the drinking music, and the people I drink with arn't usually beer drinkers. However, I'd put my vote in for Powderfinger - the blues songs, not the rock.

For me it's usually the wiggles or hi-farken-5 on account of ernie jnr (3 years).

But I did manage to slip on some old ELO whilst I did some bottling over the weekend. Ahh the nostalgia....didn't they have some classics!

don't bring me down, horace wimp, strange magic, last train to london.

But when I'm living in the now and E jnr is asleep it's thirsty merc, bernard fanning, neil young, the superjesus...
All right, brain, you don't like me, and I don't like you, but just get me through this, and I can get back to killing you with beer. - H Simpson.

I find pub songs get me in the mood (for brewing that is!)

Nothing like a song that reminds you of beer to make you want to brew some more.

So in that case, bring on the American Pie, Sweet Home Alabama, Summer of 69, etc etc. Ah... the brilliance of it all

I find those songs sound so much better when you're a couple of sheets to the wind. 8)

Listening to Rodriguez - Cold Fact, Stones - Exile on Main St, Wolfmother, Queens of Stone Age, Radio Birdman - Radios Appear.

Anyone catch Radio Birdman on tour recently? Ah, I like the idea of growing old disgracefully, but cant see the point in turning yourself into a joke and going on tour. It made me very sad.

Regards to the TV. If there was no TV in the shed, I could not come home from work on a Monday, retreat to shed, crack a beer and watch top gear. Life without watching the Wallabies, test cricket etc is unthinkable but it is what would happen if the shed had no teev.

cheers,

muddy

rwh,

I think life is full of little games.

My wife thinks I am nice letting her have complete control over the loungeroom.

So I go to the shed when I have to to watch some things in which she has no interest. That is why I initially put a TV in the shed.

This suits me. I can watch something I otherwise would not have been able to, have a beer or two, and get told I am nice for doing so.

Win/Win.

cheers

Muddy

Trying to be accomodating to the wife and her wishes . She has no interest in cars, sport, beer etc. They are in the shed. So doing the right thing leaves me to be in said shed and having a beer without being called a drunk. It is a win/win situation.

I long for a decent shed

If I had one, the sounds that would fill the room would come from Pearl Jam, The White Stripes, The Kings of Leon & Springsteen.
"Doc, what can I do about these terrible hangovers?"
'You can stop drinking beer'
"No, seriously Doc, what can I do?"
