How did you get so much sediment stuck in the tap? was it unstrained hops? or was it just chunks of yeast?

Was a bit of both, mainly yeast though. I never strain my hops and have had no prob before. I did use a liquid yeast so maybe it just went bezerk on me. One thing I'll be doing for sure from now on is propping the fermenter up on the tap side so it settles away from it

It`s only a matter of time before I get caught with that too. I never strain hops and when I take a fg reading before bottling there`s always a 4 or 5 second gap before it stars to run out of the tap. The first couple of hundred mill. is always chocka full of hop debris.
I probably should quit using a sediment reducer :idea:
