steep or chuck ?

Post by tommo »

g'day ,

I've got some Hersbrucker pellets that i would like to dry hop into my newly racked B.R.L.
]
Should I just chuck a few in or steep them in the plunger then pour. :?:

cheers for any info

tommo.

I think it comes down to personal preference.

If you've done one method previously, then do the other.

If you've done neither, flip a coin!

If it was me, I'd probably just chuck 'em in.

I'm not sure about chucking, I prefer to gently drop them into the fermenter to dry hop. :lol:

If you have just racked I'd go for the chuck.

I found chucking causes the valve in my bottle filler to block. I had to take the spring out once. Try the coffee plunger, and you'll never go back to chucking. Guaranteed.
