G'day guys,
I am just looking for any possible 750ml longnecks that people may be willing to sell or giveaway, I currently buy 650ml bottles for a $1 each so I am looking for any better deals out there. I am only just starting homebrewing and have put 3 brews down, hoping to improve the bottle collection!
Cheers
(I also posted this msg on on the AHB forum as well, so you can see how desperate I am!)

I got loads from ND Brewing for 50c each (in lots of 16)
"Retro" bottles he calls em. You get a mixed bag.. I got several "Pick Axe" brand + several coopers brand amongst others
2 of them were stamped "NSW Bottle Co" on the side and "1957" on the bottom

Each to their own but i reckon they are tops, i have about 10 dozen glass bottles that i dont even use now because i love the coopers ones so much, i also use kegs now and they beat any bottle hands downcoloneldom wrote:I have heard so many differing viewpoints on the PET's, I am a bit wary of buying em.

For a reasonable fee, you can collect them if you wish, and also have the milk crates they are stored in.
I am in Sydney in the Hills District (Baulkham Hills).

If you are prepared to travel there's a guy in Kanwal who sells 'em out of his home brew store... I think about $10-$15 for a dozen (but don't quote me)... Second hand, I believe. Pretty sure they are 750ml.
I searched high and low in Sydney about 5 years ago for 750ml longies and they were tough to come by. Most places didn't have any second hand ones and only sold 700ml and 650ml newbies...
