Should all go to the bottom after about a week , no don't mix it as you don't want any oxidization . If you leave for about 2 weeks it will clear up and leave a green crud at the bottom of the cube.
I dry hop like making a cup of tea . Place hop pellets in a large teacup, fill the cup with boiling ...

Will be brewing an ESB bock shortly, thinking of using Saf 34/70 and brewing it for about 14 days in a fridge at around 10-12 deg .
Also might add 1kg of dry dark malt to the kit and make it up to 20lt.
Any comments or tips as this will be my first go at the ESB bock.
Did a Esb Bavarian lager with ...

I don't live particularly close to a HBS and the two nearest haven't knocked me dead with the sort of advice I was looking for. Given the price of petrol  I am seriously thinking going to internet mail order for my goodies.

Anyone have any experience on this?

Cheers

Yeh Silk , just broke my second hydrometer in 2 months so I wasn't gonna worry about taking gravities anymore , you don't really need them once you've been doing it for a while and I can work out what my OG is by what fermentables I'm using . I brew with temperature control [ales 18-20, lagers 12-14 ...

Lewis, I brew all my ales at 18-20 deg and I usually let them go for 14 days. Depending on how much malt I'm using and what yeast I'm using I get the gravity down to between 1008 and 1012. Hope that helps.

Just made up my first batch of Coopers Pilsener and I will be using the yeast that came with the kit. Made up a starter 3 hours ago from the S34/70 I had in the fridge , got it going nicely ready to put in the fermenter, had a small taste and its very bitter , wont risk it so threw it out. Will be ...

One has no H2S supposedly, the other does. The kit comes with the stinky one.

Can't keep the two straight numerically though

Dogger
Thanks for that Dogger, but as far as I know all true lager yeasts give off that smell during fermentation.
