Storing Spirtis in a potentially old poision botle?

Dad has this old brown bottle, about 6L, it looks like an acid bottle ive seen in Chemistry labs. It dosn't say poision on the side or anything.

It should be safe to store spirits in im guessing once it had been washed out??

Its been in the shed for years. It dosn't have a label.

Oh and will the ammount of alchol increase as well?

Another quick question, I was using plastic bottles, i put a capfull of bleach in with water and rinsed them about 3 times with water, is this enough to get rid of the bleach?

Just tried my first brew...not 2 good

Hey my first brew was coopers canadian blonde with BE 1, femented at about 24 degreese.

It was in the bottle for a bit over 2 weeks, I tasted some and they lost head and bubbles really quick and they have a cidery taste.

Is this normal? how much will they improve over time?

Condensation qn

Hey, ive got a coopers lager+1.5kg amber liquid malt+hops brewing at 18 degreese atm.

I didnt get a good seal on lid, its not bubbiling but know it has been brewing.

My question is after the brew has stoped reacting with the yeast dose the condensation on the lid dissapear?

Hmm I put a brew (lager+1.5L malt) in last night, there is no activity through the air lock, but there is heaps of bubbiling foam on top of the wort, BUT there is no condensation on the lid, is this ok? is this because its getting out the leak?
