im in sydneys inner west. its a fair way out of the way i gotta say for bottles, and i certainly dont need that sort of volume of bottles yet. ill see how i go. cheers

cheers fellas. once i rustle up the nessecary amount of bottles ill just bottle teh bastard and see how it goes, no worries. im ready to move on to the next brew anyway.

well thats the thing. the enhancer pack just said to throw it in with the kit. the pellets were mixed in with the dry malt.

2nd brew

for my second brew i threw a brewcraft brew enhancer in with a blackrock mexican kit. the enhancer was dry malt, sugar and some hops pellets (im guessing anyway). it just seems to have alot more sediment and what not. i just want to check that that wont adversey affect the flavour of my brew. its ...

i have a bunch of different tea and tea like ingredients floating around the house as well, like rosehip, jasmine, green, hell even dandelion root. once im confident i can manage a regular kit beer without rooting that up i might try some stranger recipes.

ive just been thinking about bottling for future brews. for now i have the PET bottles and should be right for my first brew, but im working on a collection of glass bottles. i have a few of the grolsch swingtops and a couple of crown tops, but i was wondering can i cap screw tops? any advice on ...

funnily enough i was rooting around our house for bottles to use in my next batch (ill just use the PET bottles from the kit i got for my first batch) and i found about nine old grolsch bottles. would have had more but it looks like mum kept oils in the others so i guess i wont touch them :shock ...

after having it recommended by you lot a grabbed a bottle yesterday. while i dont have a remotely refined taste in beer, i still enjoyed it emensely. well worth revisting is that brew of those good trappists.
