I have been using a Porkert that I got in Sydney Rd Brunswick for 18 months now, and, as I am a country boy, I don't mind spending 30min every so often to grind 5 kg of grain. Works an absolute treat, as I have been able to adjust it to grind grist just to the point of breaking the shell of the ...

I now use a 55 l Esky. I used to use a braid but now plug the bung with a little bit of ss screening. My wort is now very lovely and clear and my efficiency, using modified fly sparge (70 deg water slowly poured through a colander during removal) has gone way up! This is the easiest way yet after ...

Went to see the man on Sat.
Just opened and he doesn't yet have a fridge for liquid yeast but he is looking for one.
Bought a few nice to have supplies.
Great too see someone local.
PS - he says that he will take special orders if given a few days notice.

G'Day Dogger,

As a hoser down under I was chuffed to see a recipe for Maudite . All of Unibroue's products were at least interesting, and some were brilliant.
Aussie has not got much micro beer yet, so that's why I took up homebrew after an absence of 20 yrs.
Brr.. must be getting cold around ...
