Re: BE2 solid as a rock!

Good to hear that you were able to use it Mick. I didn't wanna take the risk. Woolies exchanged both BE2's yesterday. The guy behind the counter was a Homebrewer too. He seemed surprised by the condition of the contents and rapped his knuckles on it to see exactly how solid it was. I picked up two ...

BE2 solid as a rock!

Anyone else having problems with Coopers Brew Enhancer 2? Since Coopers changed their packaging from sturdy plastic bag to Box + bag I've noticed some inconsistencies in the quality of the packaging/product. Initially the bags inside the box seems to be quite sticky on the outside, due no doubt to ...

This is a newish kind of spam. Very soon there will be a response from another "new" member who will provide the simple answer to earning shed loads of money from the internet, easy peasy, 100% risky free.

Re: Newbie Beer.

I've seen a few posts now strongly advising members not to use ice cubes to cool the wort and it seems a little bit like overkill. This will be my third summer of homebrewing and I've used ice cubes (tap water - standard fridge/freezer situation) to cool almost every wort thus far in summer time ...

Re: Best way to take beer on a plane?

A maximum of 5 litres of alcoholic beverages is permitted per person as carry on luggage according to current C.A.S.A. rulings http://www.casa.gov.au/dg/luggage/dgtable.htm . If you enjoy broken glass and wet belongings in your suitcase you can put the same in your checked-in luggage as well ...

I suppose saying Quad Burger is a little easier than pronouncing Quadruple Bypass Burger. We don't want to exert ourselves too much and waste 0.2 precious kilojoules over those silly four extra syllables.

Same here, but about six months ago. Woolies tagged the Coopers Stout tin price label as "discontinued". I grabbed the last one for about $7 and they have not returned to stock since.

Re: Coopers European Lager

Have to agree with the positive reviews on the Coopers European Lager. For the K&K home brewers it's a winner. Initially, I had the impression that it would simply be a rebranded Coopers Bavarian Lager but it actually does taste a little superior. For those constrained by budget or attracted to the ...

Move along people. Nothing to see here.

This is just the AMA trying to flex its political muscle and see what it can get out of the resulting media circus. Simply empire building.
